I was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Florida with my 3 brothers and 1 sister. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders from the University of South Florida – Tampa in 1999. In 2004 I completed my Doctorate in Audiology at the University of South Florida-Tampa. For my 4th year externship, I moved to Louisville, Kentucky and resided there for 10 years. While in Kentucky, I was the Director of Audiology at the Heuser Hearing Institute. Kentucky will always be close to my heart because it is where I met my husband and we now have 4 beautiful children. In 2013, I moved back to sunny Saint Petersburg and actually live in the same neighborhood where I grew up. I began working as Director of Audiology at a local Ear, Nose and Throat practice and in 2017 when they switched ownership, Alina and I made the decision that it was time to open our own practice. Opening our own practice has allowed me to balance family and work which I strongly feel makes me both a better mom and better professional. When not with my Hear Here Family I spend my time running around with my kids and extensive family. After years of helping out and filling in, my older daughter has joined the practice, which has been an amazing experience. I live walking/biking distance from my mom as well as brother and sister and we all love to get together to go boating or lounge by the pool. I am also very involved with my 3 boys school and love getting together with all of their friends and their friends parents. I am truly blessed to be able to do what I absolutely love as well as have the ability to thrive as a working mom.
