At Hear Here Audiology we believe giving back to our community is important. It helps us stay attached to our core values of compassion and embrace the common good. We greatly appreciate all of our kind and generous patients who help us make this possible with various contributions throughout the year.
Throughout the year we collect non-perishable food items and donate them to the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry. We keep a donation basket in our lobby and make a delivery as it fills.
In November each year, friends and family gather for great fun and treats at St. Raphael’s beautiful waterfront fairground. We are proud to be a sponsor and raise money for a local school and church.
The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program provides new clothing and toys for children of families in need through the support of donors. Angel Trees are decorated with numbered paper angel tags with the first name, age and gender of a child in need of gifts. We have amazing patients who are truly angels and help make sure each child has a gift at Christmas time.
Each February, the Children’s Tumor Foundation holds a “brief,” mile(ish) fun run called “The Cupid Undie Run” which takes place to raise money and awareness to find a cure for neurofibromatosis (NF), a genetic tumor disorder that affects 1 in every 3,000 births. For three years in a row, Dr. Burton has lead a top fundraising team and been a great support for this charity.
