Dr. Alina F. Linthicum received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida in 2006 and her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from the University of South Florida in May 2015.
Dr. Linthicum is a licensed audiologist by the state of Florida and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
She is proficient in aural rehabilitation and current hearing aid technology. Her expertise includes comprehensive audiologic assessments, adult amplification assessments and hearing aid fittings. Dr. Linthicum uses clinical practices which are supported by the most current scientific evidence available to produce the best possible outcomes for each individual patient. She enjoys educating patients on the benefits of hearing aids and how life-changing hearing aids can be for both the patient and their family. Other interests include tinnitus assessments/management and Bone Anchored Hearing aids (BAHA). She is passionate about the field of audiology and improving patient’s quality of life through hearing health care.
Dr. Linthicum is a Florida native and grew up in the Clearwater/St. Petersburg area. She enjoys traveling, spending time on the water and being with her family.
