Comprehensive Hearing Evaluation, Hearing Aid Specialist, Adults and Children
Dr. Mary Burton — specializing in comprehensive audiologic evaluations, and amplification / assistive listening devices — received both her Bachelors of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorder in 1999, as well as, her Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree in 2004 from the University of South Florida.
Dr. Burton holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) through the American Speech Language Hearing Association and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA). She is licensed to practice audiology in Florida and Kentucky and holds a Hearing Instrument Specialist License.
Prior to joining Pasadena ENT & Allergy / Audiology, Dr. Burton worked two years in a private practice hearing and balance center followed by eight years as the Director of Audiology of the Heuser Hearing Institute in Louisville, Kentucky.
Dr. Burton’s primary areas of expertise include comprehensive audiologic assessment and fitting of hearing aids, tinnitus assessment and management, pediatric and adult cochlear implant and BAHA assessment and management.
Dr. Burton mentors and provides clinical practicum experience for Au.D. interns from the University of South Florida.
